Hard copy of PERM labor

Hi,

Once labor ais pproved, will DOL send the hard copy of the labor to the law firm ?

Is it necessary to keep the hard copy in my own file ? What is the use ?

Yes,the hard copy goes to attorney.When the employer files the I-140 petition for you,the original PERM LC has to be submitted to the USCIS.You can ask yor employer or The attorney to give you a copy of the LC, after it has been signed by you,the attorney and your employer ( all 3 signatures on the original LC is a must for the I-140 petition)

My lc certified on Aug 22 in Phyilidelphia BEC.

Hi,

My lc certified on Aug 22 2005 in Phyilidelphia BEC. My employer and attorney did not disclose it to me till oct 5th.

Is there any way I can file the 485 based on the approval date on the hard copy of the certified labour.

no u can only file I485 based on the tecipt notice for the filled I-140 if your date is current
