Just trying to keep my spirits up by celebrating the 12 month anniversary of my I-485 receipt date. :rolleyes:

Hi,

DId you enquire why your case is taking too long after replying to RFE? What is the normal duration to get an answer after replied to RFE?

Please post your experiences on I-140 experiences(how long it tok for approval/deniel after RFE answered).


How can I find out if my employer replied to RFE? He say he replied but there is no LUD on my case.

Feedback on RFE experience

I called the CSC Emergency Line and all they would tell me was my case was delivered to an adjudicator's desk on 3/2/05. I have heard some RFEs/I-140s being approved in 2 weeks while others (such as mine) have taken months.

According to immigrationwatch.com, only 63% of I-140 applications received in January 2004 have been approved. About 20% of those cases received an RFE.

I would be concerned if there was no LUD on your case. I received a notification that my response was received one day after CIS received it. Are you tracking your I-140? What does it say?

There is no update on message or date. It has been 2 weeks after response was mailed(per employer).

I have noticed that sometimes they just don't update the message till deadline date to receive RFE response has crossed.
May be they just sit on the application/response and as soon as deadline date passes, they realize that they should have got something for the response and actually start working on it.
But this is just a guess.....
