No but you MUST ATTACH COPY OF FRONT AND BACK OF YOUR CURRENT EAD.

It is highly recommended that you should attach the copy of your I-485 receipt to your I-765 application. Please refer to the instructions for filling this form. I attached copy of I-485 receipt, copy of I-94 and a copy of current EAD along with my EAD renewal application.

I faintly remember of NOT attaching 485 copy and I think by submitting copy of your current EAD takes care of every record they have UNLESS ANY CHANGE IN 485 OR I-9s I am positive but still double check with lawyer

I have to renew my EAD (including my wife\'s), please let me know what are the documents required.

This is my second EAD First one expiered in 10/2000 I filed for renewal in May 2000 it was approved in two weeks but the actual card came after 2 months and 8 days (Both for me and my wife). It is advisable to fie for renewal atleast three months in advance.
