You should say "yes".

This should not be grounds for denial. When they test for TB, it will show that you have TB. If you tell them you had TB, then they'll do X-ray and will find out that you don't have TB.

One good thing is that you're immune to TB for life.

So relax and go for medical.

The doctor ar our medical told us (in the UK) it didn't matter if you have had TB as long as it has been treated. Good luck.

Thanks marie52,

How do they carryout our eye test ? simply ask to read letters from a distance or anything details like - colour vision etc.

I had a medical test last week. They send me a letter today. It says -

" This is to nofity you that the chest x-ray report noted changes suggestive of INACTIVE Tuberculosis. In the absense of any symptoms, I do not need to take any further action, but your papers will be marked Class B2/TB. This may have the effect of reducing your medical examination expiry to 6 months from the date of your medical. "

What does mean Class B2/TB ? Does any one suggest me it is the failure of medical ? I am worried.

Class B2 means not clinically active, not infectious. So that should be no problem for the further process.

Our eye test was straighforward
we had to stand about 7 foot away, cover one eye first and read the smallest line we could, and then repeated with the other eye.
We did not have to do a colour blindness test.
