Ha-Ha, Ho-Ho, Hee-Hee, No more USCIS for me

(after more than 1500 (hopefully helpful) posts, I figure I can brag a little)

Well, we are done. My daughter got her citizenship certificate this morning in Dallas. We are all now fully documented US citizens (with naturalization certificates dated June 1st and November 16th last year, and a citizenship certificate from this morning - and we all have passports).

I'm going to post my observations separately (http://www.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?p=1724158) so that they are easier to find if someone bothers to search the forum. However, the experience met my expectations - it included long waits and idiotic (if not illegal) processes. I'm *soooo* glad I never have to deal with the USCIS again!

Congratulations Flydog ! You have clearly more than paid your dues and deserve a permanent break from USCIS (are you sure you don't have parents or siblings that you like to file immigration papers for ?). For some of us the end of one journey is just the start of another. I will be filing I-130s for my parents and future spouse in the future and so for me it ain't over till it's really over.
