hi all,

My wife is coming on 24th of June. She got her H4 stamping when i was working with previous employeeabout 10 days ago.Now i have joined new company. My new company has filed for my H1 transfer. When she enters US which employment letter she shud show if at all asked at the port of entry.

Thanks for ur help.

They should not ask for the employment letter. Employment letter is not a required document for h4 or for entry into US on any H visa.
If the POE inspector wants an employment letter, your spouse can say that she does not have it. There is no problem in getting the old company's name in the I94. That is the normal procedure. She can then use this I94 to get a new H4 later.

Per AC21 June 2001 memo, you can use old employer's unexpired visa to enter US. She can also tell them (if asked) that a new H4 will be done after entering into US.
