H4 Visa Revalidation

Hi,

I currently hold a H1 visa in US and my wife H4. Mine and my wife's visa expires on 31st July. The current company is renewing my H1 visa. My question is how do I process my wife's H4 visa? My employer won't process her H4 visa. I still donot have my renewed H1 visa, so how do I apply for her H4 revalidation or renewal? Most important, how long does it take for H4 visa revalidation?

Hi Kaasu,

You can either apply for H4 visa yourself or contact a lawyer to do the same. The USCIS site will give all the details, the forms and fees.
Depending on what stage your H1 visa processing you may need to apply early (in fact it should be at the same time)

Since July 31st is your last date, HURRY UP and do not let your wife be out of status. Get the EAC number as quickly as possible so that the status can be maintained till the H4 is approved.

The status part invites unknown questions which you do not want

How did you get the H4 the first time? Were you in US at that time?

-------file her H4 extension with your H1, She need to sign formI-539 fie with your papers attach her fee check so that her H1 extension gets extended with your H1, file in same envelope. request the company lawyer to file her H4 extenson.her H4 can filed BEFORE her I-94 gets expired.
