H4 Unique Situation - advice needed please

i came here to usa on

H4 (dependent on my dad ) - STAYED ON IT FOR 3 YEARS

CHANGED TO

F1 - 2 YEARS

AND I AM GETTING MARRIED AND IF I COME BACK ON H4

1) Am i dependent on husband's h-1 validity or do i have only 3 yrs of h4 left ?

2) If i change to H1 after i come back on h4 . do i get a new 6 year period ?

nope, everything included comes to 6 years. Had you been out of the country for 1 year, you could have atrted fresh but not whether you take up H-1 or H-4 you have got only 3 years, but if your husband or you apply for a green-card in the mean time you can keep on extending your visa.
