h4 transfer to f1

I'm a new comer here in US. Thank you for your reply.

I'm now an h4-holder and I want to change to F1 if I could successfully get enrolled into a university.

Do I need to go back to my native country to get the stamp? Or I can transfer my status without going back to home contry?

first, you can study on H4 and even pay in-state tuition in some cases.

second, no, you don't have to leave. You can change status in the States.
