Have a query on H4 to H1 Transfer.
I’ve 15 years of education from India (Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University in May 2002). And have 3 years of IT work-experience so far from India. I am here in USA now after marriage & I am not working.
From August 2002 to October 2005, I was working in a Computer/IT firm as a Test Analyst/Programmer in Mumbai, India.
My question is:
Considering my 15 years of education(Bachelor’s Degree in India) and 3 years of work-experience in Information Technology sector, am I already eligible for H1-B visa provided I’ve a employer in USA who can sponsor me?
If yes, are there good chances of getting approved?
Is there anything I can do here in USA or back in India which can help me to increase my chances of getting H1-B. I can still wait for one year, here or go back to India & study/work on something to be eligible.
