H4 to H1, stamping in india

Hi,
I came to US on H4. Later i got my H1 & worked for 2 years. My passport still has H4 visa stamping.
I am planning to go to india for a vacation.
I would like to know the situation in chennai?
Is it ok to get my H1 stamped now?
I have my recent paystubs.
last 2 years of tax papers.
I have genuine experience in india froma reputed company.
Also, i heard that as i already has H4 stamping, i can use dropbox to get my H1 stamped. Is it true? If anybody know any details about H4 to H1 stamping.....please let me know. I am so confused to go to india now or not.

There is definitely a risk in getting the H1 (after H4) in any consulate. But if you have all the requisite documents and documented experience You should be able to get the stamp.

Don't worry

I got it done for my spouse. We went through TTK services in madras and got it back stamped in three days. No need to worry at all
