Can anyone go to Dehli if they are from south india.
How did you get your apptmt. , i mean what is the wait time.

You can get an appointment in Delhi or Culcutta ONLY if there is no previous visa rejection. So, better for fresh applicants.

Please share your experience after you got the stamping.
 
i am from south india, i booked appointment from usa to delhi consulate, i didn't get visa rejected any time, i do work for a multi national known company , the questions he asked was....
1.how did you find job?
2.is your spouse is still on valid visa
3,asked for company letter.

doucuments i carried,
1.w2 for entire stay
2.paystubs for entire stay in h1b
3.comapny letter
4.i 797,labour
5.photos
6.spouse labor (in case if they deny h1b, i can come on h4)
7.photos
8.bank statements
9.and lot of other stuff toooo..

well, i didn't see any one rejected that day.
Delhi consulate is very best consulate.

i would suggest go for it.
