I have a question and hope you can help me with it.
I am on valid H1B. My wife was on H4 and in October got her H1B from a consulting company. We now applied for her Social Security card.
I have two questions here. To be able to travel to India, is it advisable to go to Canada/Mexico to get a new H1B stamped? Will she be rejected as she did not start working yet (Waiting for social security card)?
If she has to work for a few months before she can go to Canada/Mexico for her H1B visa stamping, how many months of work would you suggest be safe before she appears for her visa?
