not that easy. They have to file I-130 for you.depends if you are married or unmaried. read the the
Family based green card threads and also read the visa bulletin to know about your category under family based

yes they file my I-130 and i have my receipt number
and i'm in US when he file my I-130
You are married and on H4 visa in US and your Father have filed I-130 for you and that is not approved at this time. You I-130 filed under FAMILY-SPONSORED PREFERENCES.
Your category is THIRD preference: Married Sons and Daughters of Citizens

Check the VISA BULLETIN and find your PD according to country of your birth or talk to your lawyer

Thanks ginnu..
i didnt hire any lawyer bcoz i dont know about the process after I-130

Once I-130 gets approved and your PD is current you can file I-485 if you are in US.
If not in US then USCIS approve the I-130 and sends it to NVC and NVC will aske visa fee from your Father who filed I-130
And affidavit of support. NVC gets the fee and affidavit of support then NVC will send the file to US consulate/embassy out of US then consulate will contact you and will inform you for Interview date, medicals/police clearance. You attend the interview get immigrant visa and enter US as immigrant and at POE they stamp your passport and will get Card in 1-2 months.
** you must talk to family based lawyer

Thanks Ginnu

I'll Concern a lawyer for that but i appreciate your efforts.

contact the lawyer with all your information, your status, inform him your country of birth and take the copy of I-130 filing reciept.
Update the thread or post what your lawyer says so that who may be in similar situation may read.

Good luck!!!!

My Service Center is California and its processing dates shows me may 2002 and my I-130 has filed in August 2009
so i think it will take so long.
