Hi All,
My wife is on H4 visa and applied for change of status from H4 to F1 visa and going to start school starting from August 28, 2007. Today we received an approval notice from USIS regarding the change of status as “Approved”.
I have heard that on F1 visa, one cannot arrive to USA more than 30 days earlier that the program start date but in this case she has received F1 approval more than 60 days earlier but she is already in USA when she applied for the change of status.
Can someone guide us that if it fine or we need to notify someone.
Please let us any necessary steps to be taked care of??
