H4 to F1 help requested

Hi,

My wife got MS admission in a univ. Now she want to change to F1 status. We want to apply for I-539 for change of status. I work on H1, and my I-140 has been approved recently. Is this going to be a problem? Her petition will be approved or not? I also noticed in the documentation it states that for dependents (H4) persons they must provide documentation that the sponsering person has valid approved status for the period of her MS study. I have valid H1 only till Feb 2003 and her study period will be upto March 2004. Can any one shed some light on this? Is this going to be a problem?

H1 to F1

I just got admit to some schools for MBA . How do I change my status from H1 to F1 here in the US . I dont want to go back to India and risk getting rejected.

If my F1 gets rejected then will they cancel my H1 also ????

H4 to F1

You need following evidence
1.Why do you need to convert your H4 to F1 (Academic visa). Because with H4 you can continue your studies.
2.Financial capabilities. You have to show your recent 4 bank statements.(Letters from bank is unacceptable to INS now). W2, tax return and a affidavit (I-134) notorized by sponser/husband.
3.Some cases evidence of going back to home country after studies.
