h4 stamping at chennai for a minor with i94 expired

hello immi gurus,

my 7 yr old kid's i94 is expired for more than a yr. Any problems to be faced at Chennai counsellate for her h4 stamping alongwith my husband's h1 revalidation ?. It is scary to send her across the borders for any refusal of a visa for her at chennai counsellate. that will all be unthinkable...

will her being a minor be excused...?

someone who went thru this scenario....pls respond to cheer up cases like mine
 
Will you be able to give a valid reason for non renewal? then you have hope. Generally by going to a consulate and getting the new visa is a way of fixing these errors.
