Hi,

This is a question on the behalf of a friend.

My friend arrived in US 1.5 yrs back with Company A\'s H-1 and his wife followed on an H-4 based on Company A 1 yr back.

My friend has from that point moved on from Company B and now to Company C.
However, he has not filed for any change for his wife. His wife still holds the H-4 stamp of Company A which is valid till March 2003.

He is not sure if Company A by now has terminated the H-1 he held with them.

Does this in any way affect his wife\'s status?

Thanks a ton for ur replies....

as long as.......

As long as she is his wife and he is in valid H-1B status, she will continue to be in H-4 status. His change of company does not affect her H-4 visa status. Husband\'s previous employer can revoke husband\'s H-1B only. Not her\'s.
