H4 revalidation!!

i have a query to ask!!

I intially got my H4 visa stamp from Mumbai consulate(the first time,back in 2001).Now i have to apply for H4 revalidation.My passport is from mumbai.

Can i apply for h4 revalidation along with my husband in chennai consulate(where he is applying for his H1B revalidation)?

Also is it true that after Aug1st,2003 applicants who are eligible for drop box have to go for interview to get a non immigrant visa according to the bulletin below?

Yes you can apply in chennai too. Yes it is also true that the interviews are becoming necessary for most first time applicants. Heard that the appointments are running to september and beyond nowadays. Many chennai applicants are going to mumbai or delhi. But verify with ttsvisas.com to check whether you are eligible for drop box or not..
