Hello every one,

I am on H1B and want to change my status from H1-B to H4 visa. My questions are:

1) What documents are required for H4?

2) Are pay stubs required with H4 application?

3) What is the fee for the whole process?

4) How long it takes to get H4 approved?

Any help will be really appreciating

Hi,

As far as I am aware H4 is a dependant visa, meaning it depends on the H1b. H4 visas are those issued to the spouse and children (under 21) of the H1b holder.

My question to you is WHY?

Hello Everyone & Gurus,

Me and my husband is on H1-B. but I want to change my status from H1-B to H4. since October 2006 I didn't get any project. I don't have pay stubs, I got my H1-B approved in Oct2006 and enter in US in Oct 2006. i was willing to work but my employer does not market me well. thats why I want to change my status.

- What documents required for H4 status?

have you heard back regarding this?

Also do you know if you can go back to an H1B visa independent of the annual H1B cap if you were to find an employer to sponsor your new H1B?
