H4 Query: ORIGINAL I-129 petition???

How do I submit ORIGINAL I-129 petition to Chennai consulate?

Could anyone please explain what is the procedure involved in certifying I-129 petition & LCA?How and who will certify these documents?(i.e attorney or employer?)

I need this because Chennai consulate asked me to submit ORIGINAL I-129 petition for Non immigrant worker and the LCA.
The fact is that ORIGINAL I-129 has already submitted to the INS at the time of filing my petition.I only have a copy of it and I would like to certify it before I send to the Chennai consulate.



Any advice is highly appreciated

Any idea what triggered a query for H-4 about I-129. Small company, missing paystubs etc.?

--- -----They need only COPY, when your employer/lawyer flied for your H1B he submitted I-129 petition+ LCA to INS/BCIS, ask your employer HR or Lawyer for the I-129 complete petition with LCA, if it is with lawyer ask for it and lawyer will certify all the pages.

-----If you have the copy of I-129 with LCA then get it certified by lawyer who prepared it and sent it to INS/BCIS, No problem they will accept it.These days all the US consulatesin India ask for Copy of certified I-129+LCA and it has become mandatory for getting H4 Visa.
