H4 out of status ( husband ) forgot to renew, filed "motion to reconsider" answer from USCIS : denied

H1b ( wife ) waiting for GC approval any time soon.

H4 hubby wants to visit relatives in Alberta,Canada does he need canadian visa? any comments...

Is it possible for him to get a tourist visa just to visit relatives in canada
 
Your husband is out of status and possibly unlawfully present. He has now bigger problems that visiting relatives in Canada. He might face deportation and a 10 year bar depending on how long he has been unlawfully present. You better talk to an attorney.
