H4 needs any Labor clearance at POE ?

Hi,

I really appreciate for your time and response for my query. My employer is Texas based and I'm working as a Consultant in Boston state. My wife is comming to Boston in next month, and my query...

Is any document needed from Massachusett State that shows labor clearance for my work in this (MA) state.
Becaz one of my friend said they might be asking at POE since my employer is Texas based and I'm working in Boston. Is it true ? If so, how can I get the labor clearance ?

That is the LCA , yes you need the LCA amended to enable you to work in MA. Ask your company, they surely will have the LCA amendment approval copy.
