h4, L1 visas

Thank you for giving me an opportunity.

I am holding H4 visa from last 2 months in India. Recently, my company asked me to apply L1 for their incoming new project / assignment. I planned to go US in next 6-10 weeks time. Now, my questions are

1. Can she hold 2 visas at a given time? If no, does H4 gets invalid?
2. If H4 gets invalid, how to make H4 valid again?
3. In case if the project / assignment does not come to company, Can she still come on H4 to US?


Please clarify. Thanks once again.

It is OK to have 2 valid visas in passport, and both is valid unless one is cancelled when obtaining another at consulate(sometimes consulate cancels another visa "without prejudice"). However, you need to choose which one you use when you enter the US and the visa you used to enter the US dictates your status in the US.
