My husband is on H1B and has transferred his Visa to a new Company(The latest approval notice says his Visa is valid till 2005). His old Visa stamping expires on 12/12/02. I am on H4. We are leaving for India(Chennai) on Nov 29th '02 and are planning to get my husband's Visa stamped in India(Chennai). I have 2 issues that need to be resolved:
1. What are the things necessary for my husband's stamping at Chennai? What is the process? How long does it take to get the stamping?
2. My H4 Visa stamping says that it expires in March 2005. Do I need to get a stamping as my husband has changed his employer and is going to get his Visa stamped with the approval notice from the new employer?
I would really appreciate it if U could shed some light on these issues.
