I want to go to a vocational school for an RDA and the vocational school I went to declined to give me admission on an h4 visa stating "That we are only f1 school"....

Can any one tell me if what I was told is correct? That is I can get admission in a community college but not in a vocational college being on h4? To be it sounds stupid....

That is plain simple wrong

You have all the rights and privilages to study at a vocational school. The only exception would be if your course requires a "PAID " internship and you can not substitute it with an unpaid internship.
The school doesnt know what its talking about. Here in Texas you get instate if you have been here for a year even if on H4. Please check the California Higher Education Board or equivalent.
Thanks

Exactly, I got admission in the local community college as California Resident. I paid CA Resident fees. And these Vocational School people are telling me I have to convert to f-1 to be able to get admission !!!

I was like, what? And this lady was not ready to listen anthing....

So, I called their headquaters and the guy there was on vacation today so I have to wait till tomorrow....

I will keep updating this thread with information.

Just so everyone knows...
I contacted the corporate office of the vocational school and was offered the admission...

So, I am all set now...
