h4... i94 error??

help!! it's urgent... im on h4 visa and im turning 21 on sept 22 this year...
expiration of visa: october 20, 2011
the date of validity of my stay here in the US..which was written on my passport is October 27, 2011.... is it possible that the homeland security made an error with the i94???? or am i still allowed to stay up to 2011 even if im turning 21 in 2 months???
pls help me.. thanks...
 
As far as I know, you are not entitled to derivative H-4 status after turning 21. Your status will expire on your 21st birthday, regardless of the date written on your I-94. I am assuming your H-4 is based on being the child of an H-1B holder and not a spouse.

thank you...i called 2 lawyers and they had opposing views...however, both were not sure...it made me more confused... i wanted to make sure so i can save money... im trying to change my status now...
