My wife is on a H4 right now with a visa validity date / I-94 validity of Mar 26,2005. One of the consulting companies applied for her H1 and was approved and valid from Oct 1,2004.
1. what will be the status of my wife's H-4 status if she never joins the company ?
2. what will be the status of my wife's H-4 status if she applies for an SSN but then later on decides not not join the company and hence is never on the company's payroll
This is a case where the company will only add her into the company payrolls if they can get her a project and hence will only pay her after that.
Will this have any impact when I add her to my Green Card process during the I-485 stage
