H4 - G4 conversion. Very urjent - Plz help

Hi,

I am on H4 visa right now in the US. I have got a job offer from an international organization and I would have to obtain my G4 visa inorder to start work.

Where can I obtain my G4 visa? What are the documents that I would need to do my H4 to G4 conversion. Plz let me know if I can do it withing the US or if I should go outside the country. If yes, then which country should I go to get my g4 visa?

Conversion to G4 Visa

I was on H1 visa for 6 years. Two years ago, I moved to G visa for an internaitonal organization. The process is very simple, as follows:

1. First slect a particular consolate outside the US, such as Canada, or London
2. Take an appoinment from that office for visa stamping. the G visa is typically stamped in a day. No long wait ir appoinment is required.
3. Get the letters of employment and G-visa request to the embassy. The organizaiton should fax these directly to the consolate you have shoosen.
4. go to the consolate and request the visa to be stamped. I think you will require to fill forms such as DS-156 etc...
