H4 for wife:Can i accompany her to the interview?

Hi,

I work here in US.My wife is applying for her H4 visa from chennai next month. Does it help if i physically accompany her to the consulate. In other words, do i need to go to india and to chennai along with her to enhance her chances of getting visa?

Your idea doesnt necessarily help. If they're convinced, they'd issue her visa.
However, dependent visas are not an issue generally.
