This question is for my friend who is a nepali now working in chennai. He is holding a H1 .I would like to know where his wife can get a H4? in Nepal or the counslate where his H1 was stampped?

Email chennai consulate and you will get the right direction. Generally it should be possible for your friend's family to get h4 in chennai.
