I have a question after I read some question regarding illegal work. If I am in H4, and the school i am attending granted me some tuition waiver, will that be regarded as illegal work? Will the school report the waiver to IRS? Thanks a lot in advance!

if the waiver is in exchange for 20 hours of work - you cannot accept it. Change your status to F1. If the waiver comes without the condition of working for the university - you can accept it.
