H4-F1, need to travel F1 not stamped

I had been on H4 for one year and then converted to F1 in 2004. But I never got F1 stamped. I am graduating in Summer 2007. And right now working as an intern on CPT visa.

My problem is - I would be travelling to India in feb 2008 while I would be on OPT. But I will have job offer with the same company.

Since I never travelled to India after I converted to F1, will my F1 visa be rejected at consulate?

How do people handle this? Please help

Should I file this year H1B under bachelor quota instead of waiting next year for masters? It is close to April 1st. Would I be able to file for it?
