H4 entry into US

Hi,
I am on H1B with company A and my H1B with company A expires in Sept 2003. My wife is on H4 of company A and she has never come to US inspite of her having H4. Now, she wants to come to US on company A's H4 visa (valid till sept 2003) at the end of August. My employer would extend my H1B for another term.
1) would my wife have any problem while entering into US on H4 visa that expires on Sept 2003?.
2) Do i have to send her any specific document to ease her entry into US?.
3) Is there any bottleneck for her to enter into US?.

While extending ur H1, make sure her H4 is also extended. Else, ur wife will be out of status after sep 2003.

---She will have no problems, she can enter US before her H4 visa expire in September 2003

--- They may ask at POE where your spouse is working, what he is doing in US she should be able to answer if asked, you can send her letter from your employer that you are working with them your job title and job location (she should show only IF asked)
3) Is there any bottleneck for her to enter into US?.


---- I don’t see any problems for your wife as “badobo” has suggested when your wife reaches US and your employer sends your H1 extension don’t forget to extend her H4 by filing form I-539 (many lawyers forget or company HR forget) it is your duty to inform them and provide the info that your spouse H4 extension should also be filed with your H1 extension

Hi,
Some advice that while my current employer applies for H1B extension for me, the extension has to be applied for H4 also

(once my wife is in US). Here is my question:

- what if another company transfers my H1B, do they have to tranfer H4 too like in the case of H1B extension?.

Please clarify.
