I had my stamping in H4. After getting EAD & AP, what is my status. What are the rules & regulations in my travel after obtaining EAD & AP.

You can maintain both H4 and AOS pending simultaneously. Using AP for travel doesn't affect your H4. Using EAD voids your H4.

Is that true? I was told by someone in another board that using AP makes H4 invalid and become AOS. Here is the post:
"If she uses AP to re-enter U.S., will she lose H4 status and becomes AOS?
------ Yes she will be AOS not on H4 status as she used AP, if she wants to be on H4 she should get H4 visa stamp based on your H1 and should enter on H4"

---- If you are in US and got H4 visa stamp revalidated and have valid I-94 with H4 status you are on H4 status, having EAD AP does not invalidate your H4 status, one may have got EAD to get SSN# or to work any time on EAD. If you use EAD you are not on H4 status, but if you want to be again on H4 status after using EAD then go out, enter US with H4 visa stamp and will be again on H4 status. Ginnu, afaik, using AP to reenter will not invalidate a persons H4 status. I remeber it being quoted by Murthy in one of the chat seesions and had seen in different forums. I'll later post the links if I find it. It would be helpful if you could post some links to support your statement!
