H4 Driver's license pending?

H4 in america, 3years later, now is the time for renew.
since H4 has no SSN, DMV said need check for legal or illegal or something...
did anyone meet the same situation?

btw, if H4 go back to home country, will they deny giving a visa to come back US? husband still working here.

as long as you have vaild visa on your passport you shd have no problem in getting DL or coming back to US. take your passport to DMV .........
