I visited chennai consulate site for H4 documentation. It is kind of confusing to me.
Do I need to send my LCA, H1 original, work place photo etc,.
to apply for H4 for the spouse ?

work place photo? Maybe they are photos of the marriage ceremony. SEnd your H1, copy of your passport, letter from your employer, recent paystubs..

Sent all Documents

You should sent Copy of your H1B approval notice and Copies of Compleate Petition (1-29+LCA +Coverletter which was writen by Lawyer or Hr Manger of you Company to INS with the petition) your passport pages where name and date of birth appears and your h1B Visa page(no harm if you send all the pages including your Valid I-94) Now they need everything , You should also send Copy of your 4-5 Paystubs and letter from your Employer that you are cureently Employed, Bombay Consulte asked For the Photographs of work Place, better send One exterior Photo and 4-5 Interior of your Employers work site, They ask for it, you wife should take photos of the marriage ceremony and marriage certificate, do not take the risk now they can ask any document, Better you should also write a cover letter that my spouse should be stamped H4 visa and find XYX documents....
 
H4 at Chennai

YOu have send the following documents
1. Letter from the employer stated that your wife is seeking H4
2. I-797 Photocopy (no need of orignal)
3. Your Passport copy (all the pages)
4. wedding Photos
5. Marriage registration certificate original
6. LCA copy
7. Your H1B petition copy from the company
8. Wife\'s Passport, Photo, Application and fees

H4 Stamping

My wife and a kid have already H4 stamped on their passports which was done before I came to US. I changed the employer after my arrival here and also I have an addition to my family lately. My question is:
1. Do all (wife and 2 kids) should get the H4 stamped again or
2. Only the new born baby needs the H4 stamping, and the rest can travel to US on the old employer\'s visa?

no need

no need for all those who have valid visas. They need a copy of your new h1. New baby will require h4, which will be based on your new h1.
