H4 Approval with errors

Hi,

I applied for H1B 3 years extension along with H4 3 years extension for my wife. We both got approvals but my wife's approval notices says H1-B instead of H4. I think this was a typo from USCIS.

What should I do to get it fixed.
Will it case any problems in future for getting more extensions or getting VISA when I visit INDIA.

Please advice.
 
I think its better you to corrected before leaving the country for stamping or even before applying further extension, I would say make it ASAP.

Can you tell me which Service Center was it.. ? and also when did you applied and when was it approved..
 
It is California Service Center. My attorney sent a request to USCIS for ammendment. As per her since the approval is on I-539 which is used for H4 extension, it clearly shows mistake from them.

Both H1B and H4 had receipt dates of Feb 14th and I got approval on Apr 13th. So, it took roughly 2 months.

Do you think I need to do anything else, other than waiting from USCIS for an amended notice.
