H4 application process

Guys I was wondering if any of you can update us with your H4 stamping experiences in Delhi..
I heard that these days they are asking for the husband's name endrosed on the passport. any idea how much time it takes to get the endrosement.
Any other documents to worry about.

Your wife can endorse your name on passport or can get new passport with married name it takes maximum 2 days in Delhi (if you give Chai Pani)
If you have time better do it in US from nearest Indian Consulate or embassy, you have to fill up miscellaneous services form go to Indian embassy or Consulate site download the form. Speak to them how many days they take.
