H4 and W-2's in Chennai consulate

Hello friends,

Has anybody in this forum got their spouse's H4 visa approved in Chennai consulate recently without submitting the last year W-2's of H1 holder
(by having all other documents like last 6 months pay stubs, current employer letter, attested copies of H1 approval, I-129, LCA, 6 months bank statements etc.)

I want to know if last year W-2's are required for H4 visa in Chennai.

H4 documents

Could you please let me know what all documents you are giving for H4.I will also be applying for my H4 in chennai thro drop box in Bangalore in June 2003.I have taken Tax returns and bank statement
Had a few questions-
Do you have to attest the H1 B copy??
Do you have to give photocopies of all documents also?
