H4 and AP - status related question

Hi,

If a person on H4 status having a valid EAD (but not having used it) travels on AP, will that person's status change? Or will it remain H4?

If the status will change, to what?

when u use AP or EAD you will come under AOS of 485. You are under no more H4 visa.
