H1B - Would be staying outside for 1 Year

Hi ,

I am currently on H1b Which would be expiring in Nov 2004, I am currently on a Project in UK where I would be staying for 1 Year. After I come back would I get another 6 years on my H1B after I apply to the INS.

Yes, come into US with a new H1 if possible. that would ensure a new 6 yr term.

Can I come bcak with the same H1B and apply for an extension ? so that I can get another 6 years on my H1B.

No U cannot. It has to be a new H1.
