I am currently a postdoctor working at a University on H1b. We just got a new project that requires me to work off site (away from the University). I talked to the officer in our University and they told me that I cannot do it. But I think there must be something I can do to work offsite, like submit another H1b application or something. Is there any limit on how much time I can spend off site? Can someone please give me help on this if you know the regulation? Also, please let me know where to find the related regulation on this issue. Thank you very much.
