H1B working from home in different city

Hi, Here is my situation:
I have a H1B with expiry date - Apr 2011.
It is for a job in the Chicago area and I have been with the employer for 5+ years. I also have an approved I-140 and EAD.

I moved to Seattle recently and am on unpaid family medical leave right now. In another month, I will be working for the same company, based in Chicago, from my home in Seattle. If I would like to keep my H1, will I need to get a new H1 with new labor wage certification for Seattle or can I continue working on the same one?

Note that my cmopany does not have any operations in this area.

Thanks in advance.

In your case, it is not needed to get a new LC. There are hundreds of such cases, especially in case of consulting companies, where the payroll is generated based on the consulting company's location, whereas the employee actually operates in a different city.

new H1 is not needed as you will be working for the same employer but your employer need to get New LCA for new work location. Ask your company or company lawyer and they can get new LCA .
