My situtation is this. Company i am currently working has filed for h1b. If I do get approved for h1b for more than 1 year, let's say, I work for 6 months in US for Company A and then move back to some other country for 6 months. Would I be able to come back to US with same h1b and work for the same company A. Company A is ok with it. Or do you recommend me to go work for Company B with regards to immigration? When I leave US for 6 months to another country, do I give the I-94 to the US immigration? What are the steps involved for me to leave and come back later?

Please help.

Company A files H1 for you and H1 for A gets approved then you can work with A. you can work 6 months with A and can go out of US and can come to US if A has job for you. When you depart US you give your I-94 at airline counter before you depart US. for Entry to US you will need H1 valid Visa stamp.

When I come back to US after 6 months in another country what do I need to do to get new I-94 based on Company A or some other company?

------------- If you have valid H1 Visa stamp in your passport and you are going to work with A then show your Passport with valid H1 Visa stamp at POE and you will get new I-94 till duration of your H1 visa validity. if you dont have Visa stamp then you need to get Visa stamp from US embassy or US consulate out of US and will need documents from employer A and H1 approval notice.

or
some other company?
-------Do you have other company H1 approval notice? do you have other company H1 visa stamp? If you dont have other company H1 approval and job offer from other company how you can enter on H1?
