H1B;Will this be safe??

I am currently working for company A, and got an offer from company B.

Company B's attorney filed my H1B transfer application on Oct. 3rd.

And we have not yet received any receipt notice, even though we filed it as premium process.

It has been more than two months since my interview w/company B, and they cannot wait for me any longer.

Can I start working for new employer WITHOUT receipt notice from USCIS??

Should I dimiss the offer?

Please advise me...

It is not safe, of course. What if USCIS actually did not receive the petition due to post office trashed you application ?

In a premium process you should have received the H1 approval itself by now. Looks like an issue at the attorney's side. You should check with the attorney who filed your papers about the reason for the delay. And yes, you should not worrk for them till you at least get a receipt.
