H1B- Voters Registration Card and Jury Duty

I was listening to FM 97.5 talk show. One of the callers had a question - she is a citizen and her husband and sisters were on H1B since 2004. Last year when she went to vote, she found her husband's and sisters names were in the voters list. This week one of the sisters received a jury duty letter.

My question is - H1B applicants are now eligible to vote and jury duty like a US citizen?

I may have missed the new law! :confused:
 
I am not sure about the voting thing, but I did receive Jury duty letter though I am on H1 visa. you just have to send them back with stating you are not a US Citizen.
