H1B Visa Re-applying

Hi all,

I had applied for my H1B late september 2003, got a 221g refusal. Asked for documents like employers tax returns, contact info of people working at the client location, all my paystubs while I was in the US (I was there between June 2000 - Sep 2003). I submitted all of them by 21st October 2003. Chennai Consulate held my passport for 2 and half months, got my documents back by January 8th, stating another 221g, asking for "Specfic contact details" (specifically marked) at my company with phone number and "Detailed Description" (specifically marked) of all the active projects at my employers work location. This time they did not send my I797 and all the documents I had submitted regarding my Employer.

I got all the documents ready now and the problem is, they asked me to courier the documents back to Consular Affairs/FPU section of the Chennai consulate DIRECTLY, not through TTS or in person. The letter just states,
" Send all the above documents directly to:
Chennai Consulate General
Consular Affairs/FPU Section
Anna Salai...."

Did anybody face this situation before ? Please do let me know, waiting for a long time now. Its been a week since I sent the documents back, guess dont have to explain my state of mind

this indicates possibility of the enquiry into the company aspects, and case has been referred to Anti fraud unit of the consulate, it might take, 6 to 8 months to resolve the case.
