pls respond-h1b visa-minimum work experience required?

Hi,
I am BE graduate in Electronics and Communications Engineering.I have been working as a software engineer with an MNC for exactly 2 years 10 months.I am going to consulate next month for h1b.Is it a must that I should have minimum three years of experience for getting h1b visa?will they ask for more experience during interview?
pls pls reply.I am in a dilemma to postpone the interview if that's the case.
pls advice.

As far as I know there is no such rule which says you should have 3 years of work experience. However depending on the position you applied your visa for they may ask experience letters. Look at your LCA and I-129 from your employer and then decide.
My advice will be to take a legal advice on this one.
