I went to Vancouver for H1B renewal 7/11/03Originally posted by rdhing
Has anyone recently, say in the past 2 weeks, gone to Canada or Mexico to get their H1B Visa stamping?
I don't have a US degree. However I was extending my H1 visa. So they didn't ask me about my degree. I've met another guy he was changing his status from F1 to H1. He had a US degree and he's got his visa too.Originally posted by kannegan
Hi sd1975,
Did you changed from F1 to H1 or H1 to H1. I will appreciate if you let me know about your Degree too. What i mean is, do you have a US degree or international degree.
Thanks
Sunil

Thanks sd1975,
In July months I thought of going to Vancouver for my H1 ext. But some one told me that they won't issue the visa, if you have International Degree and the US POE guys won't allow you, even if you have a valid I-94. So, I dropped that option. My H1 got expired on July 31st, 2003 and I have an approval up to 2005. I will try to attend the interview on Sep. Thanks again for your suggestion. Please let me know, is there any special instruction, I need to know.
Thanks
Sunil
So what's the problem? You have nothing to worry about! I don't understand your concerns.Originally posted by kannegan

Thanks
